Washington, D.C. — A new national cultural event honoring faith, family, and patriotic storytelling is set to take the stage this summer as the MAGA Film Awards - Make Art Great Again comes to Washington, D.C. The live awards celebration will be held Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., coinciding with America’s historic 250th anniversary celebration and Flag Day.
The two-and-a-half-hour theatrical event will feature live music, film tributes, and award presentations recognizing filmmakers, storytellers, and creators whose work reflects the enduring values of faith, family, freedom, and the American spirit. The event will be hosted by acclaimed actors Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, both widely recognized for their work in faith-based and family-focused entertainment.
“This event is about celebrating the stories that uplift, inspire, and remind us who we are as a nation,” said Dean Cain. “Film has the power to shape culture, and the MAGA Film Awards shine a spotlight on creators who are telling meaningful, values-driven stories that resonate with millions of Americans.”
Actor Kevin Sorbo echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the cultural significance of the evening. “The MAGA Film Awards are about honoring storytelling that strengthens faith, celebrates family, and reflects the spirit of America,” Sorbo said. “It’s an opportunity to recognize artists and filmmakers who are making a real impact through their work.”
The MAGA Film Awards will celebrate both traditional film achievements and emerging media voices, recognizing excellence in filmmaking, digital storytelling, and cultural influence. The event is designed as a powerful cultural moment during the nation’s 250-year celebration, highlighting stories that reflect America’s heritage, values, and future.
